Emergency Operations Centre
The BC Poultry Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) manages the industry’s collective response to emergencies, ensuring coordinated and effective management of critical events. The EOC is comprised of and led by members drawn from the province’s largest commercial poultry sectors, including egg, chicken, turkey, and hatching.
The EOC’s current focus is managing the sector’s response to avian influenza. It would also lead the response to other disease outbreaks, environmental emergencies such as fires or floods, and any other critical events.
