Members of the public who see a sick or dead wild bird should avoid handling. Please call the province’s sick Wild Bird reporting Line at 1-866-431-2473

If you observe any birds in your operation that have symptoms that may indicate avian influenza infection call the sick bird line immediately:

The line is answered by CFIA staff, who will dispatch personnel for immediate testing.
